Winfield Pastime Theatre will present its first community theatre production, Arsenic and Old Lace, a 1940’s classic comedy. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2

The descendants of James William Smith and Rebecca Little Smith will have their
annual reunion at the Paul Hubbert Pavilion, located on the campus of
Hubbertville School, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. All family members and friends are
invited to attend. Those planning to attend are asked to please bring a covered

The Mills reunion will be held at the Cedar Landing Restaurant, located on
Highway 129 in Winfield, just north of Highway 78 East, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The 76th consecutive annual Sandlin family reunion will be held at the Fort
Decatur Recreation Center Gymnasium, located at 610 Fourth Street in Decatur,
from 10 a.m. until the last cousin leaves. A covered dish dinner will be served
at noon. Anyone with the last name of Sandlin or related to the Sandlin family

CURRENTLY
The Survivors of Suicide Support Group meeting, hosted by local survivors in
Winfield, will be held at the Winfield Community Center on the first and third
Thursday of each month. The first meeting will be held on Aug. 5 from 6 - 8
p.m. in Room B. This is a support group only. This is not a mental health or
counseling service. It is for those that have been affected by the loss or near

South Hamilton Baptist Church will be having a Yard “FREE” Sale with clothes and school supplies being free to anyone from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Pleasant Ridge Free Will Baptist Church, located in Hamilton, will have revival
services beginning at 7 p.m. Bro. Greg Rucker will be the evangelist.
Bethlehem United Methodist Church, located on Highway 19 in Hamilton, will have
revival services with Don Harding as the guest speaker. The Sunday night will
begin at 6 p.m. while weeknight services start at 7 p.m.
Rocky Grove Free Will Baptist Church will have revival services with Bro. Randal
Tice as the evangelist. Sunday services will begin at 5 p.m. and Monday through
Wednesday services will begin at 7 p.m.

Revelation Holiness Church, located in Sulligent, will have homecoming services
with morning service beginning at 10 a.m. Singing will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Center United Methodist Church will have revival services with Sunday services
beginning at 5 p.m. A meal will follow the service. Monday through Wednesday
