LEGAL NOTICE
Pursuant to Section 9-16-70 et seq., Alabama Code, 1975, M E Group, Inc., Blaylock Mine No. 2, hereby gives notice that it has filed a Phase III, bond release application with the Alabama Surface Mining Commission for release of performance bond for Permit P-3821, Increment No. 5 The area of land for which bond release is requested consists of 118.0 acres in Increment 5 located in:
the NE/NW & NW/NW of Section 1, Township 12 South, Range 12 West, the NE/SE, SE/SE, SW/SE & SE/SW of Section 35, the SE/SW, SW/SW & NW/SW of Section 36, Township 11 South, Range 12 West, the SE/SE, SW/SE & NW/SE of Section 29, the NE/NE of Section 32, Township 11 South, Range 11 West.  All of the above located in Marion County, Alabama.
The permittee maintains that as of 07/15/10, all the requirements involving regrading, planting and growing times of the area for Phase III release has been completed in compliance with State Law and Regulations and the approved reclamation plan. The permittee, therefore, is requesting release of $49,200.00 of the performance bond $49,200.00 for Increment 5.
