• Brilliant Park and Recreation Board, first Monday, 6 p.m., at Brilliant Town Hall.
• Glen Allen Town Council, first Tuesday, 7 p.m.
• Guin City Council, first and third Monday, 6:30 p.m.
• Guin Park and Recreation Board, second Sunday of the month at 8:15 p.m.
• Guin Water Board, second Tuesday at 5 p.m.
• Gu-Win Town Council, first Monday, 7 p.m.
• Hackleburg Town Council, first Monday, 6 p.m.
• Hackleburg Water Board, first Monday at 5 p.m.
• Hamilton City Council, first and third Monday, 6 p.m. On Monday, Feb. 15, a 5:30 p.m. hearing on a proposed zoning ordinance will be held. The formal council meeting scheduled to follow that night has been delayed to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, because of President’s Day. The ordinance can be found at the city website at www.cityofhamilton.org.
• Hamilton Industrial Development Board, third Monday at 6 p.m. at the Hamilton City Hall Conference Room.
• Marion County Board of Education, date and time set individually, at the Central Office site next to the Marion County-Rankin Fite Airport.
• Marion County Commission, second and third Monday, 9 a.m. The commission will hold a work session on the Thursday before the month’s first meeting.
• Marion County E911 Board, second Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the E911 center about a block from the county engineer’s office in Hamilton.
• Marion County Public Water Authority, first Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the authority’s office at 130 Industrial Drive in Hamilton.
• Marion County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors, second Tuesday of each month at 5:45 p.m. at Oh! Bryan’s Family Steakhouse in Hamilton.
• Northwest Alabama Arts Council, date and time set individually, at the Hamilton City Hall.
• Northwest Alabama Gas District Board of Directors, date and time set individually, at the gas district office in Hamilton.
• Twin Town Council, first Monday at 7 p.m. at the Twin Town Hall.
• Twin Water Authority, first Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Twin Water Authority building.
• Winfield City Board of Education. The monthly meeting is held on the second Tuesday at noon at the board office.  
• Winfield City Council, first and third Tuesday at 6 p.m. 
• Winfield Park and Recreation Board, second Wednesday, 5 p.m.
• Winfield Water and Sewer Board, second Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

State Troopers
HAMILTON - The following activities were reported by the Alabama State Troopers Post in Hamilton for the period ending Feb. 3:
• Bobby Joe Daniel, 77, Cullman, driving a 2005 Ford, was involved in a one-vehicle accident on Jan. 31 at 10:10 a.m. on U.S. Highway 278. Daniel was listed as injured in the accident.
• Kayla E. Holbrook, 22, Hamilton, driving a 2003 Chevrolet, was involved in a one-vehicle accident at 5:40 a.m. on Feb. 2 on County Road 16. She was listed as injured, as was a passenger, Foster L. Wallace III, 26.
• Yohnny M. Mareno, 19,  Hilton Head, S.C., driving a 2002 Ford, was involved in a one-vehicle accident at 12 a.m. on U.S. 78 on Feb. 2. There were no injuries.
Winfield Police Department
WINFIELD - Officers with the Winfield Police Department issued 16 citations during the period from Jan. 28-Feb. 2 with the following breakdown: eight for speeding; two for improper tag; and one each for driving with a suspended license, other violation, and no insurance.
The following incident reports were filed during the period: four for officer’s report; and one each for first-degree theft of property, third-degree theft of property, harassment, shoplifting and harassing communications.
The department worked three accidents in the period.
