Lucy Duncan

Mrs. Lucy Idella Duncan, 74, of South Fulton, Tenn., passed away Monday, Dec. 11, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on May 26, 1949, in Hamilton, to the late Desmar Brown and Willie Ruble JacksonBrown. Lucy was a retired consumer safety inspector for USDA.
She moved to South Fulton in 2006 from Alabama.
She is survived by her husband, Stone Duncan, of South Fulton, Tenn.; two daughters, Lisa Bisese of Lincoln, Ala. and LKenzii Sanders of Pell City, Ala.; a son, Jamie Woods of Hamilton; a daughter, Julie (Michael) Mashburn of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Ethan Mashburn and Olivia Mashburn, both of Hamilton; Will Woods of Elsworth, S.D., Kellsie Bishop of Pell City; a great-grandson, Alijah Jones, of Pell City; a great-granddaughter, LaKencii Sanders, of Pell City; and a sister, Linda Brown, of Hamilton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Faye Bard.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Hamilton.
