ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Marion County Commission will receive sealed bids for the Airport
Obstruction Removal and Ditch Regrading project (Marion County - Rankin Fite
Airport) at the Office of the Marion County Commission, Marion County
Courthouse, 132 Military Street South, Room 154, Hamilton, AL 35570 until 10:00
A.M., May 21, 2008, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and
read aloud.
A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., May 15, 2008 at the Marion
County - Rankin Fite Airport.
The work involves, but is not limited to, the construction of the following:
1. Airport Obstruction Removal
2. Ditch Regrading
Contract documents, specifications and drawings may be seen at the office of
Garver Engineers, 218 Holmes Avenue, Huntsville, AL 35801, (256) 534-5512 or at
the Marion County Engineer
’s Office, 701 4th Avenue SW, Hamilton, AL 35570. Copies of the Plans and “Contract Documents and Technical Specifications” may be secured from Garver Engineers, upon payment of seventy-five dollars
($75.00) for each complete set, which is refundable. Check should be made out
to Garver Engineers.
Pre-Qualification for award of this contract is as stipulated in the “Contract Documents and Technical specifications”.
