Timmie Lynn ‘Tim’ Pennington, 63, of Hamilton, passed away Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, at Spain Rehab Center in Birmingham.
He was born on Aug. 26, 1961, in Hamilton, to Thomas Pennington and Mary Nell Channell Pennington.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Pennington; son, Jason Pennington (wife, Amber); daughter, Stacey Spann (husband, Lonnie); grandchildren, Austin Cochran, Karley Harris, Drew Spann (Cassandra) and Drake Spann (Kristin); great-grandchildren, Caroline, Jax, Joseph, Jacob and Jordon; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Pennington; mother, Mary Nell Channell Pennington Peoples; and brother, Tommy Pennington.
Funeral services with military honors were held on Dec. 30, 2024, at Marion County Funeral Home. Bro. Shane Stidham officiated. The interment was at Mt Zion Cemetery.
