WINFIELD
n Mike Crowe is a 1979 graduate of Winfield City High School.
Crowe played varsity football for four years for the Pirates where he was all-county in 1977.
Crowe also received the 1978 lineman of the year award and the winning performance award in 1978.
Crowe is currently employed by Denburg Resources, Inc.
He enjoys music and antiques.
He and his wife Doris have been married for 26 years, and they have two sons, Paul and David, and one daughter, Jade.

n Terrell Kirkpatrick was selected to the Marion County Sports Hall of Fame in the special category.
Kirkpatrick has been the Winfield City Schools Superintendent since 2002.
He graduated from Haleyville High School in 1966 and then attended Northwest Shoals Community College until 1968.
Kirkpatrick then transferred to Auburn University where he received his bachelor’s degree.
After his time at Auburn, Kirkpatrick received his master’s degree from Mississippi State University and an endorsement in School Administration from the University of North Alabama.
After college, Kirkpatrick went on to teach agribusiness at Courtland High School from 1970-1971.
He then moved on to teach the same subject at Winfield High School from 1971-1978.
From 1978-1984, Kirkpatrick held the position of building trades instructor at the Winfield Area Vocational School.
After six years at the vocational school, Kirkpatrick was principal at Winfield Elementary School from 1984-1998.
In 1998, Kirkpatrick took the position of superintendent of Tishomingo County Mississippi Schools, where he served until 2002.
He has served as the superintendent of Winfield City Schools since 2002, where his focus has been on providing opportunities for students in both academics and athletics.

n Hoyt Darrell Hosch lettered four years for the Pirate football team.
Hosch was selected all-conference twice and all-county twice.
His hobbies include training and raising horses, fishing, and hunting.
He and his wife Lisa have one son, Tyler.
Hosch is currently employed with Dal-Tile in Fayette, Ala.

n Donnie Franks is a 1975 graduate of Winfield City High School.
During his time as a Pirate, Franks lettered four years for the football team.
He was selected offensive lineman of the year in 1975, and all-conference in 1974-1975.
He and his wife Cindy have been married for 30 years and have two children, Kris and Leslie, and three grandchildren, Lexi, and twins Kylah and Makayla.
He enjoys playing golf.
Franks is currently employed with Moore Petroleum, where he has worked for the past 21 years.
