HAMILTON — Marion County is back in the Northwest Alabama Economic Development Alliance (C3) after commissioners voted to rejoin the economic development group lead by CEO Tom Wisemiller.
The vote was very close as commissioners Kenneth Cochran and Keith Nichols voted against the proposed reunion with C3.
Hackleburg's Greg Gunnin was among the commissioners who voted in favor of rejoining C3, but stated he would like to see more transparency when it came to finances.
"The only thing I'd like to see is for somebody to report to us at least quarterly to let us know what's going on," said Gunnin.
