Cemetery association seeks map

This letter is written on behalf of the Oak Grove Church/Berryhill Cemetery Association.  
Several years ago, the association had a large plat/map made of the Berryhill Cemetery (located four miles west of Winfield), had it framed, covered in plexiglass and erected at the cemetery under a shelter.
Unfortunately, vandals caused so much trouble that Jack Weeks, president of the association at that time, took the map down, moved it to his house and stored it in his basement.
After his death, the association officers have been trying to locate the map.  To date, its whereabouts are unknown.  The association minutes, kept up to that time, are also missing.
These things are of great importance, not only to the association, but to the many families with loved ones buried in the cemetery, as well as the people who have chosen plots in which to be buried.
This is an appeal to whoever has, or knows about the map and/or minutes to contact the association.
The annual cemetery meeting will be held Sunday, May 7, in the Garden Room of the Winfield Community Center at 2 p.m. This meeting is open to all - any person who has an interest in the cemetery.

Donations for upkeep of the cemetery are badly needed.
