HAMILTON — Major arrests were made in Hamilton involving a string of multiple cases of identity theft.
Suspects Dewayne Britford, Donnique Scott, Dornell Brown and Keonna Ponder were all arrested in connection to the cases involving multiple Listerhill Credit Union locations in the area as well as out of state.
According to a release form Sergeant Trey Webb, investigator with the Hamilton Police Department, on Wednesday, June 28, Listerhill Credit Union contacted local law enforcement and informed them of a group of individuals using customer identification to access accounts and receive money from the automated teller machines.
