Raiders win homecoming over Tigers 39-6

GUIN — The Marion County High School Red Raiders won their homecoming game against the Brilliant Tigers 39-6 on Friday night, Oct. 4.
The Raiders kicked off to begin the game and held the Tigers to fourth down.
After the punt, the Raiders made it to around Brilliant’s 30-yard line when Marion County’s Tye Madison ran across the goal line, but a holding penalty brought the Raiders back. Two incomplete passes put the Tigers back in control on their own 37-yard line.
The Tigers were held to fourth down and punted again. Tye Hollis took the raiders up to the Tigers’ 33-yard line. Samuel Taylor got around the defense down the sideline to take the Raiders up the 15.
