Northwest RC&D holds FY 2024 completion project

HACKLEBURG — The Northwest Resource and Conservation Development Council, in partnership with the Alabama Legislature, met with officials on Monday, Sept. 30, at Hackleburg High School to announce the completion of projects in fiscal year 2024.
The Northwest RC&D Council’s projects for Marion County totaled approximately $119,589.84.
“Northwest RC&D announced almost $120,000 in 16 grant funded projects for Marion County for FY 2024,” Lauranne James, executive director for Northwest RC&D, said. “These projects represented schools, municipalities and local organizations supported by funding by our State Legislature. It is our responsibility to make sure these funds are used to benefit the people of Marion County. Thank you to all of our partners, local officials and school administrators who continue to apply for grants to make a difference in their communities.”
