Tigers, Bears both lose games

BRILLIANT — The Brilliant Tigers lost last Friday night’s home game to the Berry Wildcats 51-8.
The Tigers were able to score a touchdown with a  two-point conversion, but couldn’t keep up with the Wildcats in the end.
The loss leaves the Tigers with a 4-6 overall record for the season, with a 1-6 region record as the regular season winds down. The Tigers faced a tough game since Berry only suffered one loss this season with a record of 8-1.
This Friday night, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m., the Tigers will travel to Sylacauga to play the Wolves at Fayetteville High School. The Wolves are currently 2-6 overall and 0-5 in their region.

Phillips
ADDISON — The Phillips Bears traveled to Addison to play the Bulldogs on Friday night, Oct. 25, but were shut out 57-0.
The loss leaves the Bears with a 2-7 overall record, with a record of 2-5 in their region. Addison holds a record of 6-4, with a record of 5-2 in their region.
This week, the Bears will host the Tharptown Wildcats Friday night at 7 p.m.
The winners of both games, Addison and Berry, will face each other this Friday night.
