Annie Ogden

Annie Kate Ogden, 86, of Sulligent, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in the Marion Regional Nursing Home in Hamilton.
Annie Kate was born on July 30, 1938, in Sulligent, to the late Ed and Addin Hollis Cribbs of Sulligent. She was married to the late Robert Perry Ogden Sr. She previously attended Lamar County Training School. Ms. Ogden retired from Sulligent Group Home for over 25 years. She had lived in Sulligent all of her life and enjoyed shopping, watching TV, spending time with her family and reading the Bible.  She was a member of the Church Of God In Christ.
She is survived by three daughters, Patsy Bonman Evans of Sulligent, Frances Bonman (James) Walker of Sulligent and Paula Bonman, of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sons, Lawrence Bonman Jr. of Guin, Robbie Ogden (Veronica) of Pinson and Robert Perry Ogden Jr. of Sulligent; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and a sister, Helen Johnson (Detroit, Mich.).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Perry Ogden Sr.; parents, Ed and Addin Hollis Cribbs; sons, Larry Bonman and Ed Bonman; sisters, Vaughn Davis, Ruby Metcalf, Sara Goode, Martha Bobo, Velma Ray, Edna Mae Sullivan, Lucille Hollis and Fannie Lee Hollis; and brothers, Herschel Cribbs, Harold Cribbs and Junior Cribbs.  
Funeral services were held June 8, 2025, at the Veal Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Sulligent with burial in the Sulligent City Cemetery.
