The Town of Brilliant is considering making application to the Alabama Department of Environmental Management for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Program Loan. In order to inform the citizens of the Town of components of the program, a public hearing will be held on June 28, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at Town Hall located at 1275 Main Street, Brilliant, Alabama 35548. An Environmental Information Document is being prepared for the proposed project and will soon be available for public review during business hours at Water Authority Office. Citizens will be informed at the meeting of the nature and extent of the proposed activities, amount of funding available, and the time frames for the program year. Further, The Town will be accepting comments on the application for the Alabama Department of Environmental Management’s DWSRF Loan Fund for the purpose of the “2021 Water System Improvements”. Every citizen in attendance will be afforded the opportunity to express their views of the program and the needs of the community.
