GUIN - The Brilliant Tigers traveled to Marion County High School Tuesday, Jan. 11, to take on the Red Raiders. While each school has excel- lent and talented players, there could only be one winner with the boys teams and one with the girls. Marion County varsity girls won against Brilliant 79-22, while the Marion County varsity boys won in a close 52-42.
The Lady Raiders began a strong first period with Serinity and Trinity Metcalfe sinking baskets. The team had a total of 43 points in the first period only. Of those 43, Trinity took 12 points, Serenity sank 16 points and Cara Sullivan carried 9 points.
