BEAR CREEK — The Phillips Bears defeated the Brilliant Tigers in a matchup that took place on Thursday night, Dec. 1, in Bear Creek.
The home team was good defensively, stopping Brilliant from putting a good run together.
Following their win against the Tigers, Phillips went up against Vina away from home.
As of press time, this game had not yet been played.
After their home game against Brilliant, the Bears’ record sits at 3-1, which is a good start for the season ahead.
For the Brilliant Tigers, it was back to back defeats after Friday night’s game saw them lose 70-41 against Lynn.
Brilliant’s next game will be at Hackleburg on Monday, Dec. 12.
