Peggy Ann Beck Colburn

Peggy Ann Colburn, 77, of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at NMMC-Hamilton. Peggy was born on June 16, 1948, in Tuscaloosa, Ala., to the late Clarence Beck and the late Maudine Skelton Beck.
Peggy attended Hamilton High School until she had to leave school in order to be the caretaker of her older brother who had a brain aneurysm. After that, she became the caretaker of her oldest sister, who had been in a car accident.
For 16 years, Peggy took care of her mother and moved her from Tuscaloosa to Hamilton until her mother passed away. She started her career at Munsingwear Garment until she ended her career at Toll-Gate Garment in order to be the caretaker of her mother, who had dementia.
Peggy left behind her loving husband of 58 years, Harlon Colburn (Mousey); one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her sons, Joey Colburn and Tony Colburn; parents; brother; and sisters.
Funeral services were held on May 1, 2026, at the Hamilton Funeral Home with burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
