WINFIELD - The Winfield City High School Drama Club held its annual Drama Dinner at Pizza Bar in Winfield on June 10.
The dinner was for students from the high school and middle school who participated in the school theater and Self Express community productions and their families.
Several students received awards and recognition for their accomplishments and participation.
Eight students were inducted into the International Thespian Society, an honor society for theater students. The students inducted were Abby Beasley, Corbin Bryant, Taylor Doss, Sarah Henslee, Carson Hester, Kylie Long, Nam Nguyen and Zoe Vaughan. To qualify for the International Thespian Society, these students had to have a certain number of points, earned by hours of theater activity.
