Kudell Perry

Mr. Kudell Perry, 94, of Winfield, passed away on Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, in the Walker Rehabilitation Center in Carbon Hill. Kudell was born in Wayside, Ala., on May 30, 1930, to Columbus and Lena Abigail Webster Perry. Mr. Perry was a graduate of Winfield City High School and a United States Army veteran who served in Germany during the Korean War.
Mr. Perry is survived by his children, Brian Perry (Amber) of Cullman, Angie Riley (Will) of Winfield, Tim Perry of the Philippines and Cindy Perry Vincent of Tennessee; grandchildren, Samantha Aitchison, Sunnie Perry Planko, Hannah Rothenburg, Natalie Vincent, Mason and Brooks Riley; great-grandchildren, Alyse, Arrhianna and Kenton Planko, Wiley and Angus Aitchison and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Perry; siblings, Jim, Ray, Jessie, Maurice and Seaborn Perry, Virgie Lee Baccus, Christine Smith and Imogene Waldrop.
Funeral services for Mr. Perry were held on Jan. 13, 2024, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
