New leadership will bring new life to Post 100

WINFIELD — American Legion Post 100 in Winfield had a revitalization meeting Saturday, May 31, and gained seven new members. This brings the post above charter strength and has avoided the permanent closing of this Legion hall.
A date has been set for June 14, at 2 p.m. for the next meeting. If you are a veteran and would like to join the American Legion Post 100, please attend this meeting.
Post officers may be selected at this meeting. If you are a veteran, you are needed.
District 14 Commander Terry Thomas and team have been working hard to bring the City of Winfield an American Legion Post they will be proud of.
