Raymond R. Edwards, 71, of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, at North Alabama Medical Center. He was born in Alabama on Jan. 17, 1954, to his parents, Raymond Rayford Edwards and Helen Ganelle Vanderford Edwards.
He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Eric Edwards, Steffany Cochran, Paige Cochran and Kayley (Isaiah) Carruth; siblings, Linda Dempsey, William Edwards (Kimberly Page) and Gwendalyn Edwards; grandchildren, Kalen, Kashton, Bryliee and Kiersten; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Louise Edward; grandparents; parents; sister, Helen Dean Edwards; brothers, Dennis Clyde Edwards and James Chrisopher Edwards; nieces, Carla Woods and Tiffany Cochran; and aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were held on Jan. 17, 2026, at Marion County Funeral Home and interment at Antioch Cemetery.
