Free entry to Hamilton Splash Pad on July 16, 21 & 27

HAMILTON — The Hamilton City Council approved a recommendation on Monday, July 6, to authorize free admission to the Hamilton Splash Pad for four days in July.
The first free date was July 10, but the information was shared after presstime for the last edition.
The next three free pass days for the Hamilton Splash Pad are Thursday, July 16; Tuesday, July 21; and Monday, July 27.
Hamilton Mayor Tami Lewis Williams explained the city is providing free passes to give children the opportunity to cool down from summer heat and enjoy the splash pad.

Regular cost
is $1
The regular cost for entry into the Splash Pad is $1 per person. The facility is open Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Splash Pad is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Concessions are available, including ice cream and soft drinks. There’s also a small park structure inside the area. To book private parties, call the Hamilton Rec Center at 205-921-4371. Private parties are $125.
