Harold Lynn Ray, 74, of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point, Miss.
He was born in Lakeland, Fla., on Thursday, July 3, 1947, to George Tilton Ray and Birtie Northam Ray.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife - Tawanda Sorrels Ray; son - Jeremy Ray; grandchildren - Jesse Ray, Aiden Ray and Kenai Ray; brothers - Darrel Ray, Tommy Ray, Mickey Ray and Danny Ray; sister - Ruth Edrington; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents - George and Birtie Ray; son - Jamie Ray; grandchild - Benjamin Ray; brothers - Sonny Ray, Jerry Ray and Dennis Ray; and sister - Louise Bailey.
The funeral service for Mr. Ray was held on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022, at the Marion County Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Nix Chapel Cemetery.
Bro. Nickey Ray was the officiating minister.
