Betty Jo Strickland Cantrell, 86, of Florence, passed away on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022.
She is survived by her daughters - Anita (Don) Miller and Lanetta Koonce; sister - Ann Johnson; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents - Carlie and Ollis Strickland; husband - William Reginald Cantrell; brothers - Johnny and Hershel Strickland; sisters - Billie Nell Upton and Wanda Sue Johnson; step-sons - Bill and Elvis Cantrell; and beloved dog - Squeaky.
The funeral service for Mrs. Cantrell was held on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022, at the Colbert Memorial Chapel with burial following at the Colbert Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, please give to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
