Dennis Moore
Mr. Dennis Wayne Moore, 74, of Winfield, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, in the DCH Medical Center. Mr. Moore was born in Winfield on April 24, 1950, to Robert Calvin and Mildred Humber Moore. Dennis was a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church and currently attended Bethel Apostolic Church. He was a 1969 graduate of Winfield City High School. Dennis joined the United States Army in 1970 and served his country during the Vietnam Conflict. He owned and worked in his own carpenter business for many years before his retirement in 2012. After retirement, Dennis was employed with Continental Conveyor and was currently with Tiffin Motorhomes as a guard until his passing. He enjoyed spending his free time with his family, working outdoors and on his motorcycle with his riding buddies.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 50 years, Annette Duckworth Moore; his mother, Mildred Humber Moore; his son, Mark Moore (Macey); his daughter, Denise Ary (Kyle); granddaughters, Anna and Addison Ary, Gracie Moore, Amanda Bishop (Rogar) and Heather Lovell (Thomas); grandsons, Nathan Foster (Janna) and Stacey Foster; sisters, Sharon Lawrence (Frankie) and Bobbie Derrick (Todd); and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his father, Robert Calvin Moore and his infant daughter, Bridgett Ann Moore.
Funeral services for Mr. Moore were held on March 18, 2025, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens.
