Lois Fay Dodd, 82, of Hamilton, Ala., passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton. She was born in Hackleburg, Ala., on Thursday, Dec. 23, 1943, to William Crate West and Martha Emerson West.
Lois was a member of the Hamilton Church of Christ. She loved unconditionally and was loved immensely, and nothing on this earth could compare to her.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Charles Dodd; son, Jeff Dodd (wife, Tonya); grandson, Brady Dodd; great-granddaughter, Ariabella Dodd; sisters, Marvie Walker and Lucille Childers; brothers-in law, Gary Wayne Dodd and Jerome Dodd; sisters-in-law, Sondra Dodd, Wynonia Dodd, Reba West and Sue West; and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Crate West; mother, Martha Emerson West; twin sons; a daughter; brothers, Frank West and Lenord West.
Funeral services were held on May 15, 2026, at Marion County Funeral Home in the chapel with Bro. Ryan Gallagher officiating and burial in Mt Olive Cemetery.
