Mary Sue Westbrook

Mary Sue Westbrook, 82, of Mt. Olive, Ala., passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026, at Diversicare Nursing Facility. She was born in Mulga, Ala., on Nov. 28, 1943, to Vandiver Westbrook and Kathleen White Westbrook Daniel. Sue was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church.
Sue is survived by her special cousin, Judy Dickson; her niece, Lauren Barrett; her great-nephew, Elias Barrett; and a host of other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vandiver Westbrook and Kathleen Daniel; her sister, Terrie Barrett; and her nephew, Matthew Barrett.
Miss Westbrook’s family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026, from 3-4 p.m. Burial will follow in Grigg’s Place Cemetery.
