HAMILTON - The 27th Annual Breaking the Cycle of Abuse (BTCOA) conference will be held on Friday, April 5, at Bevill State Community College- Hamilton.
This year’s event will mark the first time that two doctors will give presentations as previous years the conference had featured only one doctor. Dr. Carin Richard Kiser and Dr. David Bernard of the UAB Department of Pediatrics will be speaking at this year’s event.
The cost for registering for the conference is $20 before the day of the conference and $25 the day of; however, any student that wishes to attend the conference will be able to attend for free.
This year’s conference has also been approved for attorneys’ continuing legal education.
The conference will begin its first presentation at 9 a.m. and the closing presentation will begin at 5 p.m.
Registration is open from 8 to 9 a.m.
