Hamilton man faces 50 counts of disseminating child porn

HAMILTON — A Hamilton man is facing 50 counts of disseminating child pornography.
Devin Wayne Deerman, 24, of Hamilton, was arrested on Tuesday, March 4, at 7:12 a.m., at his residence by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department for the 50 counts and then placed in the Marion County Jail.
When asked to comment, Marion County District Attorney Scott Slatton said, "This is a pending case, and I can have no comment other than providing the basic information the newspaper already has from court filings."
According to court documents, the 50 counts consist of 44 videos totaling 30 minutes and 44 seconds in addition to six images. Court records indicated Deerman “did on or about September 2024-January 2025, knowingly disseminate or display publicly any obscene matter containing a visual reproduction of a person under the age of 17 years...”
