Lois Bernice (Vaughan) Cosby, 74, of Haleyville, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026, at her daughter’s residence. She was born in Arkansas on May 4, 1951, to her parents, Daniel Vaughan and Ada Smith Vaughan.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Bobby Cosby Sr.; sons, Dustin Cosby and Bobby Cosby Jr.; daughters, Anne Thrasher, Vicki Gambino, Michelle Cosby, Jennifer Cagle (Jim Brooks) and Mary Ham; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Cosby; grandson, Krystian Cosby; andgreat-grandson, Waylon Dipasquale.
A graveside service was held on Feb. 5, 2026, at Bear Creek #1 Baptist Church Cemetery.
