All are welcome to join the monument dedication ceremony for legendary “Aunt Jenny,” Louisa Elizabeth Jane Bates Brooks Johnston. The ceremony will be at the Pebble Community Center, located at 100 County Road 3423, Haleyville, AL 35565 on Sunday, March 20, at 2 p.m. The ceremony will include guest speakers, period dressed characters, rifle salute and canon fire, followed by a reception. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors. Aunt Jenny was a well-known and outspoken lady who avenged the death of her husband and son during the Civil War.

Hoof or Paw will be having a BBQ Plate Fundraiser at the Hamilton Free Will Baptist Church parking lot on Saturday, March 12th. Prepaid tickets plates can be picked up from 3-6. Walkup Orders are from 6-6:30.
