HACKLEBURG — Hackleburg Town Councilman Darrin Wigginton was arrested on Friday, May 30, and charged with possession of a controlled substance after a traffic accident. According to Hackleburg Police Chief Kenny Hallmark, Wigginton’s vehicle was involved in a collision with another vehicle that was traveling south on State Highway 253 near Old Hackleburg Road.

HAMILTON — The Hamilton Police Department raided a housing authority apartment on Ragsdale Avenue and seized large amounts of methamphetamines, controlled substances and paraphernalia on Tuesday, April 22.

HALEYVILLE — A multi-layered crime occurring at a mobile home park on Alabama Avenue in Haleyville, has led to a Winfield man being arrested for a stabbing, with 39.8 grams of methamphetamine, as well as fentanyl being confiscated from a residence.
