Brilliant – The Brilliant City Council met on Thursday, June 23, and passed a series of motions related to purchases and staff changes.
The council approved a motion to pay $2,137.63 to send Brilliant Police Chief Steven Bryant to a week-long police chief’s conference in August. The price covers the cost of the convention and the hotel.
Another motion was approved to pay $4,299 for a new transmission for a police car. Buying the new transmission was more expensive than rebuilding the old one, but the new transmission came with a better warranty.
