Independence Day is almost upon us and two of Marion County’s municipalities are primed to celebrate with a bang.
Both Hackleburg and Guin will continue their tradition of hosting entertainment and a fireworks display on the weekend of July 4.
In Hackleburg, Neighbor Day is returning this year and although the event is usually held in April, it will be held in tandem with the town’s Independence Day celebration.
The Neighbor Day event will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 2nd with music and vendors. Saturday hours will be 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
