Sonny James Post 165 selling wreaths

HACKLEBURG - The Sonny James Post 165 in Hackleburg will be conducting sales for the 2022 Wreaths Across America campaign this month at 314 First Avenue.
Sale dates and times will be as follows:
• Nov. 16 from 3 to 6 p.m.;
• Nov. 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.;
• Nov. 23 from 3 to 6 p.m.; and
• Nov. 29  from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Wreaths are $15. Sonny James Post 165 represents the Cedar Tree Cemetery, but anyone can buy a wreath for their veteran from any cemetery or buy one as a donation for Cedar Tree.
Wreaths Across America’s national ceremony will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 11 a.m. at Cedar Tree Cemetery in Hackleburg.
Every year on National Wreaths Across America Day, Wreaths Across America sets out to remember fallen U.S. veterans, honor those who serve and teach children the value of freedom. Wreaths Across America Day is an annual event that takes place every third Saturday in December at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as other cemeteries in the U.S., at sea and abroad. Wreaths are laid as family and friends remember both those who made the ultimate sacrifice and those who currently serve in the armed forces.
