SW¼ of SE ¼ of NW ¼ and all that portion of N ½ of SW ¼ lying north of Old Hamilton and Hackleburg Road, Section 31, Township 10 South, Range 13 West, except 17 acres of uniform width off the west side thereof.
Also, all that part of NW ¼ of SW ¼ that lies south of the Old Hackleburg-Hamilton Highway and that lies north of New Hamilton-Haleyville Highway and that lies East of the Conard Swinney line, in Section 31, Township 10 South, Range 13 West.
To begin at a stake at the point of intersection of the Old Hamilton-Hackleburg Road and Highway N0. 278 in the NE ¼ of SW ¼, Section 31, Township 10 South, Range 13 West, and run East a distance of 244 ft. more or less on the North right-of-way line of Highway No. 278 to a stake; thence North 100 ft. more or less to a stake on the South right-of-way line of Old Hamilton-Hackleburg Road; thence West 244 ft. more or less along the South right-of-way line of Old Hamilton-Hackleburg Road to a stake; thence South 75 ft. more or less to the point of beginning. All lying and being situated in the NE ¼ of SW ¼ of Section 31, Township 10 South, Range 13 West.
LESS AND EXCEPT:
A tract of land containing 5.71 acres, more or less, situated in the NE ¼ of the SW ¼ of Section 31, Township 10 South, Range 13 West, Marion County, Alabama, being more particularly described as: Commence at the SE corner of said NE ¼ of SW ¼, thence North along the left boundary of said NE ¼ of SW ¼ a distance of 285.0 feet to a point on the North right-of-way of U.S. Highway No. 278 and also being on the East right-of-way of Heritage Place (a City of Hamilton Street); thence North 75 degrees 50 minutes West along the North right-of-way of said U.S. Highway No. 278 a distance of 895.0 feet to a ½ inch re-bar and the point of beginning of the tract described herein; thence continue North 75 degrees 50 minutes West along said right-of-way a distance of 231.0 feet to a concrete right-of-way marker (marked P.O. T. 128+00); thence continue along said right-of-way North 75 degrees 50 minutes West a distance of 54.0 feet to the East right-of-way of Haven Lane (a City of Hamilton Street); thence North 10 degrees 35 minutes West along the East right-of-way of said Haven Lane a distance of 179.8 feet; thence continue along said right-of-way North 02 degrees 55 minutes East a distance of 94.2 feet; thence continue along said right-of-way North 22 degrees 35 minutes East a distance of 122.9 to a steel post; thence leaving said right-of-way South 79 degrees 10 minutes East a distance of 232.8 feet to a steel post; thence North 53 degrees 50 minutes East a distance of 181.6 feet to a steel post; thence South 67 degrees 15 minutes East a distance of 272.8 feet to a ½ inch rebar at the base of a 30 inch sycamore tree and said rebar being on the West boundary of the Edward Howell lot and also being on an old wire fence; thence Southerly along said West boundary of the Edward Howell lot and along said old wire fence a distance of 304.0 feet to the North side of the old Hamilton-Hackleburg Road; thence continue southerly a distance of 30.0 feet to the South side of said old Hamilton-Hackleburg Road and the North boundary of the Ray Howell tract; thence North 85 degrees 00 minutes West along the south side of old Hamilton-Hackleburg road and the North boundary of the Ray Howell tract a distance of 319.0 feet to a ½ inch rebar; thence South 00 degrees 30 minutes East a distance of 85.0 feet to the North right-of-way of U.S. Highway No. 278 and the point of beginning.
A tract of land, containing 3.5 acres, more or less, lying and being in the S ½ of W ¼ of SE ¼ of NW ¼ of Section 31, Township 10 South, Range 13 West, Marion County, Hamilton, Alabama and being more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the northwest corner of S ½ of W ¼ of SE ¼ of NW ¼, Section 31, township 10 South, Range 13 West; thence run south, along the west boundary of SE ¼ of NW ¼, a distance of 500 feet to iron pin; thence run east and parallel with south boundary of SE ¼ of NW ¼, a distance of 300 feet to iron pin; thence run north and parallel with west boundary of SE ¼ of NW ¼, a distance of 500 feet to iron pin set on the north boundary of S ½ of W ½ of SE ¼ of NW ¼; thence run west, along the north boundary of S ½ of W ½ of SE ¼ of NW ¼, a distance of 300 feet to the northwest corner of S ½ of W ½ of SE ¼ of NW ¼, and the point of beginning of the land herein described.
A tract of land containing 2 acres, more or less, situated in the N ½ of SW ¼ of Section 31, Township 10 South, Range 13 West, Marion County, Alabama, more particularly described as follows, to-wit: “Beginning at the intersection of the center of the Old Hamilton-Hackleburg Road, a gravel road, with the North right-of-way of U.S. Highway No. 278, which said point is marked by an iron pin; thence un North, parallel with the West boundary of the NE ¼ of SW ¼ of said Section 31, a distance of 420 feet to an iron pin; thence run West, parallel with the North right-of-way of said U.S. Highway No. 278,, a distance of 210 feet; thence run South a distance of 420 feet to an iron pin located on the North right-of-way of said U.S. Highway No. 278; thence run East, along the North right-of-way of U.S. Highway No. 278, a distance of 210 feet to the point of beginning of the land herein described.”
