Last day to register to vote for the municipal general election.
AUGUST 18 - AUGUST 25
Absentee ballot requirements begin and end. Please contact your city/town election officials regarding absentee ballots prior to these dates or search online for the Alabama League of Municipalities Elections Calendar.
AUGUST 26
Election day. Regular municipal elections are held on the fourth Tuesday in August. All polling places shall be open for voting from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
