Brad “Bob” Burroughs; running for Winfield City Council Place #5

WINFIELD — I'm Brad “Bob” Burroughs, and I’m running for Winfield City Council Place #5, and I'd be honored to earn your support.
Winfield is more than my hometown — it's the community I've proudly served for years. Now, I'm asking for the opportunity to serve in a new way.
My public service began in law enforcement, where I advanced from patrol officer to patrol sergeant, narcotics investigator, state drug task force member and eventually lieutenant and chief investigator.
Today, I continue serving as the Faith Church Winfield Youth Pastor, where I mentor and guide the next generation. I also serve as assistant coach for the Winfield City High School Softball Team, where we've built a 112-37 record over the past three seasons.
In addition, I manage social media for both the softball and volleyball teams at Winfield City High School, operate the scoreboard and vision board for volleyball and created "Fenway at Faith Stadium" — a baseball/wiffle ball venue that hosts community events to raise money for charity.
At the center of everything I do is my family. I've been married to my wife, Whitley, for 15 years, and we're raising three incredible children: Peyton, a sophomore at Winfield City High School; Presley, an eighth grader at Winfield City Middle School; and our youngest, Phoenix, who is 3.
Whether I'm coaching, pastoring or cheering from the stands, my heart is with Winfield's youth — because I believe our future begins with them.

Winfield forward
I don't want to see our town fall behind. I believe Winfield can grow, lead and thrive — for families, businesses and young people.
That means bringing energy, fresh ideas and a forward-thinking mindset. The future won't wait, and neither should we.
Let's grow. Let's lead. Let's move Winfield forward.
I'd be honored to serve on the Winfield City Council and bring my passion, experience and commitment to this role.
Let's respect the past, seize the present and shape the future — together.
Thank you for your support.
