Frankie Kerr; running for Hamilton City Council Place #2.
HAMILTON — Hi. I am Frankie Kerr, and I am proud to announce my candidacy for Hamilton City Council place #2. I have been married to my wife, Ellen Kerr, for 53 years, and we have twin daughters, Shana Clayton (John) and Dana Davis (Jeff), and two grandsons, Ethan and Dalton Davis.
I am a lifelong resident of Hamilton. I have been a member of Poplar Log FWB Church for over 50 years where I have served as a Sunday school teacher, member of the cemetery board and I have been serving as a deacon for the last 22 years.
I worked with the Hamilton Housing Authority for 15 years when I retired in 2015. I have five years of experience as a small business owner and several years of experience in the manufacturing industry. If elected, I plan to draw on these experiences as your city council member. Specifically, I would like to see development in new industry as well as providing recreational/entertainment businesses to benefit our youth and young adults. This will keep our revenue here in the city, all the while supporting our local businesses already operating here in the city. The primary focus is working to get our city's water infrastructure upgraded to benefit all residents of Hamilton along with supporting new industries coming to Hamilton.
I am running for city council because I want to be a part of the change and help move our city forward.
I humbly ask for your support and vote on August 26, 2025.
