The American Legion is seeking to establish and charter an auxiliary unit at Post Number 147 in Guin.
Anyone interested in learning more is welcome to stop by Guin City Hall, located at 7500 U.S. Highway 43, on Sunday, April 12, from 2-4 p.m., to learn more about the American Legion and auxiliary and the auxiliary’s purpose.
American Legion Auxiliary members advocate for local veterans, active military and their families and also promote patriotism through educational and civic events.
At least 10 members will be needed to establish an auxiliary charter in Guin.
