“All Are Neighbors,” by Alexandra Penfold. “All Are Neighbors” is a great read for little ones to help them understand that all people make up a community and all are neighbors by helping each other when someone needs a helping hand.
“I Survived the American Revolution, 1776,” by Lauren Tarshis. “I Survived the American Revolution, 1776” is a great read to celebrate the United States' 250th birthday! This book takes readers back in time to experience the beginning of our country through exciting storytelling.
“Moonleapers,” by Margaret Peterson Haddix. “Moonleapers” takes young readers on a mysterious time-traveling adventure. When Maisie receives a hand-me-down phone from her great aunt, she is thrilled. But soon that excitement turns to curiosity as she receives mysterious text messages from an unknown sender.
“Space Invader: Jurassic Jeff Book One,” by Royden Lepp. “In Jurassic Jeff: Space Invaders,” Jeff, an alien focused on conquering Earth, arrives millions of years too early and ends up traveling with friendly dinosaurs. As they guide him to their leader, he discovers the true meaning of friendship. This is a great read for summer reading!
“Eruption,” by James Patterson and Michael Crichton. Ready for an adventure that involves deadly viruses, government conspiracies and volcanic eruptions with toxic consequences? “Eruption,” by James Patterson and Michael Crichton has it all and will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.

“Look! There Are No Dinos Inside of This Book,” by Jimmy Vee. “Look! There Are No Dinos Inside of This Book” is a cute book about how Dangerous Dave definitely (maybe?) got rid of all the dinosaurs in this book so there is nothing to worry about (right?).
“Triceratops Vs. Spinosaurus (Who Would Win?),” by Jerry Pallotta. “Triceratops Vs. Spinosaurus (Who Would Win?)” gives a lot of facts and details on two dinosaurs in a compare and contrast style. You also get to see which dinosaur would win in a battle.
“The Cellar,” by Natasha Preston. “The Cellar” is written by an author who is a young adult version of popular author Freida McFadden, in my opinion. All of her books contain twists and turns that you don't see coming.
“Jurassic Park,” by Michael Crichton. Jurassic Park is the dinosaur book that started it all. It's the perfect read for this year's Summer Reading Program theme, ”Unearth a Story.”
