HAMILTON — On Saturday, Dec. 16, the Hamilton Walmart Supercenter held its first “Shop with a Cop” event, where several children were able to shop for Christmas presents with members of the Hamilton Police Department.

Wal-Mart adds tag scanning cameras

New security cameras at Wal-Mart in Hamilton will scan tag numbers at the entrance and exit to help law enforcement.

HAMILTON — The Hamilton City Council approved entering an agreement with Wal-Mart to purchase two camera systems at the Wal-Mart property.
Hamilton Mayor Bob Page stated that Wal-Mart will purchase one of the camera systems while the city will purchase the other.

Vehicle caught fire, burned after oil service

A Shottsville couple is seeking answers after an engine fire totaled their vehicle and damaged their home. They say the incident occurred immediately after their car was serviced at the Hamilton Walmart’s Auto Care Center.
On Saturday, April 24, Vicki Winsett’s 2015 Nissan Altima caught fire and became fully engulfed while parked in her driveway on Goggans Road in west Marion County.
