Linda Faye Kimbrell
Mrs. Linda Faye Kimbrell, 82, of Winfield, Ala., passed away on Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, at her residence. She was born on June 17, 1944, in Wayside to Clifton T. and Edna L. Beasley Causey.
Faye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister whose greatest joy in life was the people she loved. She had a big heart, and her family was especially important to her, and she treasured the time she spent making memories with them. Faye was a member of Mt. Calvery Baptist Church. She was also well known in the local real estate community, working as a realtor for 27 years with Ballard Real Estate. Outside of work, Faye loved to shop, travel, collect antiques, celebrate holidays and most of all, spend time with her family.
Faye is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Stancel Kimbrell; her children, Amy Whitehead (Greg), Amber Foster, Jill Pollard (Ricky), Jana Hulsey (Lee) and Ryan Kimbrell (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Joseph Moore (Jessica), Kelsi Moore, Derek Whitehead (Jonnika), Reed Tucker, Andrea Wallace, Cali Foster, Daphne Pasley (Jordan), Emily Sanderson, Devin Sanderson, Cody Hulsey, Grace Hulsey and WeTona Mosley (Aaron); 23 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Major Windell R. Causey (Carolyn) of Arizona and Ronald Causey (Jean); along with a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Faye was preceded in death by her grandson, Mason Tucker; her parents, Clifton and Edna Causey; and her parents-in-law, Walter and Selma Kimbrell.
Funeral services for Faye were held on Oct. 5, 2026, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens.
