Betty Faye Ward

Betty Faye Ward, 82, of Winfield, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, in the DCH Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. She was born March 18, 1943, in Winfield, to Olliver D. and Ila Mae Clark Lynn.
Mrs. Ward lived most of her life in Alabama and was a faithful member of East Winfield Church of Christ. She attended college where she studied watch and jewelry repair.  She owned and operated her own jewelry store in Hackleburg, and was later employed with the local hospital and Wal-Mart.
Mrs. Ward is survived by her husband, William Clyde Ward Sr. of Winfield; her daughter, Sondra Ward of Winfield; her sons, Clyde Ward Jr. of Alabaster, Kavin Ward Sr. of Escondido, Calif and Bert Ward of Hackleburg; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her sister, Lola Mae Beasley of Cordova; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Elizabeth Ann Lynn Callahan; and her brother, Ollie Ray Lynn.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ward were held on Jan. 15, 2026, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Winfield City Cemetery.
