Linda Conner Murns
Mrs. Linda Conner Murns, 71, of Winfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at her residence. Born Nov. 6, 1953, in Robertsdale, Ala., she was the daughter of Harold and Emily McAdams Conner.
Linda was a 1972 graduate of Millport High School and dedicated over a decade to her employment at Walmart until her retirement in 2018. In her spare time, Linda enjoyed fishing and was an avid Alabama football fan, serving as the scorekeeper for the Bama Cousins group.
Mrs. Murns is survived by her husband, Edgar Murns; daughters, Kim Parks and Christy Dunn; stepdaughters, Kimberly Lawrence (Randy) and Angela Sandlin (Joseph); grandchildren, Emily, Erin, Eric, Molly and Harley; step grandchildren, Tyler and Joanna; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Shirley Tidmore (Mike); her brother, Lane Conner (Bonnie); niece, Joanna Bridges; great-nephew, Jesse Bridges; and a host of other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Murns was preceded in death by her brother, Claude Conner and son-in-law, Danny Parks.
A memorial service to celebrate Linda's life will be held at a later date.
