Hallmark and officer Logan Hayta responded to the crash. Hallmark said he couldn’t reveal the full details of the incident due to the ongoing investigation, but he did say that as officers investigated the crash, a controlled substance was found on the scene.
After the discovery and subsequent investigation, Wiginton was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
He was taken to the Hackleburg Police Department to be booked, and was then transported to Marion County Jail, where Wigginton bonded out.
