HAMILTON – Summer employment changes and adjustments were made by the Marion County Board of Education during its monthly meeting held on Tuesday, June 15.
The off-season roster adjustments included a three-year contract renewal for Brilliant School Principal Dr. Adam Aldridge.
Aldridge stepped in to lead Brilliant School, which is a K-12 unit school, two years ago in June 2019 when former principal Gary McCarley took the principal position at Hackleburg High School.
Hamilton Elementary School Principal Keith Smith, who was hired into his role at the same time as Aldridge, announced his resignation from his post during the June 15 meeting. He will work in his capacity as principal through July 31.
