Margarette M. Hilley, 79, of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Marion Regional Nursing Home.
She was born in Birmingham, Ala. on Saturday, Oct. 9, 1943, to Eldon ‘Bud” Miller and Lura Movaline Cranford Miller.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Lenia Pilkonis (husband, JP) and Wayne Hilley (wife, Amanda); grandchildren, Corey Gravett, Justina Pilkonis-Regnet, Tru Pilkonis, Jakoby Pilkonis, and Sarah-Elizabeth Phillips; great-grandchild, Aeris Wooten; siblings, Bruce Miller (wife, Jeannie) and Wendell Miller (wife, Beverly); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Thomas Hilley, and parents, Bud and Lura Miller.
The funeral service was held on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Marion County Funeral Home in the chapel. Bro. Jeremy Sorrells officiated. A private family graveside service was at Hamilton Memory Gardens.
