Marion County brings home the trophies

LYNN — The boys and girls varsity basketball team played in the Northwest Alabama Conference, held on Dec. 7-9, 2023, and both went home with the trophies on Dec. 9.
For the girls, Marion County won the first game 65-56 against Hackleburg Dec. 7, advancing to the second round where they won again Brilliant 54-35 Dec. 8. The championship game was held at Lynn High School on Dec. 9, where Marion County won against Hubbertville 58-48.
For the boys, Marion County won the first game 80-47 against Hackleburg on Dec. 7. They then won the second round against Brilliant 63-38 on Dec. 8. The championship game was also held at Lynn High School on Dec. 9, where Marion County won against Lynn 60-41.
